Father's Day weekend

Last weekend we hosted a bbq for our community group with all the kids. It was so great to get together share some yummy food, fellowship, and have the kids run around with each other. We had a total of 12 kids at one point and it was awesome!
Because we had the bbq at our house unfortunately we had to miss our nieces first dance recital. We got to watch some videos and she really rocked that stage! Eliana tagged along with her grandparents and couldn't stop talking about all the dancing. When she got home she kept asking when it would be her turn to go on stage. I guess that means she is ready to start dancing school!
This Father's Day weekend we kept it super low key. We went for a fun afternoon at Chase's parents house with amazing food and the kids had a blast playing with their cousins in the water.
We spent Sunday at church and then stayed at home the rest of the day. It was WAY better then lugging our wild crew to a crowded restaurant. It was a perfect weekend spent with amazing people.
Chase even got in a nap.

Memorial Day 2016

This Memorial Day we kept it super simple and low key. Sebastian had a sleepover and movie date with his Mimi so me and the babes made some from scratch waffles. They love being in the kitchen pouring and mixing everything up. Momma tip: have all the ingredients pre measured in easy to pour glasses! That way when it's time to cook everything is already to go!
We went over to my best friends house for a little bbq and water play. Two of our favorite things!
Best friends since the seventh grade :)

Zoo play date with our local MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) group.

Splash pad fun! These kids love being in the water and I just love splash pads. Eliana wasn't really into it all that much and axel warmed up to it right as we were leaving but Sebastian had a blast getting drenched!
