busy bee

These past few weeks have been so busy for us McClouds.
Even though the weekends have been super packed they
have been so much fun. I am so thankful that the weather has been so beautiful!
When my nephew was born my Dad planted a lemon tree in his yard in honor of his first Grandsons
birth. Keeping with that tradition my dad planted a satsuma tree in Bashs honor a week before he was born in 2009. This past month little oranges popped out! This is Bash enjoying the first fruit from the tree!
If you have ever been to our house you know that our backyard is filled with sand and sticks.
Not such a good mix with a toddler. So these days we are enjoying our thankfully
pretty large front yard. Chase and I have even tossed around the idea of maybe fencing it in. Even our neighbor said she would do it too! So who knows it might just happen.

Bubbles= a cheap good time!
My Bash Man!

St. Edward was having a fair a couple of streets down so we decided to stop
by to hear some live music and enjoy some rides!

Sebastian's first ride at a fair. Of course its some sort of train.  He smiled and laughed the entire
time. He makes my heart so happy.

Once again that you pinterest for the endless ideas, especially with toddler activities.
glow stick bathtime, or as my husband called it Baby Rave Bath.

pumpkins galore

We decided to take Bash Man to the pumpkin patch the day after his party.
(yes we were all still exhausted from the day before)
We all got up super early to hit the road(the best patch is about an hour away)
its safe to say we had a great time!

updated Oct. 25th 2011
We took bash to another patch around the corner from our house saturday.
I wanted a bigger pumpkin so I can attemt pumpkin pie :)
"pumpkins mommy!'

Sometimes I think Sebastian looks just like
my older brother Shaun. Especiallywhen he makes
faces like this!
That's the one daddy!

I am so very thankful for Saturdays like these.

up up and away!

This Saturday we had Sebastian's 2nd birthday party! I learned from his first birthday that it was too stressful to try and take pictures of the birthday boy and guests and enjoy the party. So we had a friend of the family come take some for us! BEST IDEA EVER! So I don't have any pictures of people yet but i did take a few of the decor before everyone got there! (i will update later with the pictures that she took)

So this years birthday theme was AIRPLANES! We based the whole party off
the little plane on invites. The plane happened to be red, white and blue
so i just ran with that color scheme.
thank you pintrest
 for your endless party ideas!
 food station
birthday cupcakes with the labels I made.
My mother in law made the rice krispies then we used cookie cutters
in the shape of clouds and planes to make the shapes.
front door decor

happy birthday banner.I made it with card stock, scrap book paper
and yarn.
My Husband and Sebastian's Uncle Will made this awesome
Cardboard Airport that the kids LOVED!

the kids also loved decorating their own airplanes
with tons of different stickers.
Got some paper lanterns(clouds) from Chase's work and some different
planes form the dollar store and hung them every where!

to be continued . . .

terrific twos

Good Morning Birthday Boy!

Bash got his very first train set for his very special day! I have never seen him sit and play with one toy for so long. He almost didn’t want to eat breakfast. (almost) Once he heard the word pancake there was nothing that would keep him from eating!

Today called for a
"S is for Sebastian"
pancake in honor of our birthday king!

Lunch time at one of Bashs favorite places, CHUCK E CHEESE. Nothing says its your birthday like eating tons of pizza and tons and tons of tokens!

I think the birthday cake was his favorite part of the day! I am so thankful for this blessing that I received in October 11th 2009. Our Lives changed forever and we have never been happier! Happy birthday my sweet boy
